On November 30th, the college held the Supply and Demand Orientation Meeting of the Hunan Provincial 2019 College Graduates in Cultural and Creative Field, and the Large-scale Job Fair for the 2019 Graduates. 275 companies from the industries of culture and entertainment, information technology, education and training, wholesale and retail, as well as finance, construction, real estate, manufacturing and others, provided college graduates with 10,045 jobs in 2,819 categories. The employers were combined of 61 enterprises from the world's top 500, China's top 100, top 500 of private enterprises, China's top 500 and top 500 companies in industries, and 15 listed companies. In addition to the 3,400 graduates from HNMMC, the recruitment fair also attracted almost 1000 students from over 10 universities and colleges, including Jishou University, Hunan University of Commerce, Changsha Normal University, Hunan Institute of Information Technology, Hunan Vocational College of Art, Hunan Vocational Insitute of Safety Technology, and Hunan Vocational College of Engineering. The secretary of the Party Committee Yuan Weikun, the President Ma Yujun, and Vice-president Xu Jingxue and other leaderships of the college attended this meeting to know about the employment demands and the employers’ satisfaction about the graduates, guided the graduates to employ, and visited the representatives of the participating enterprises owned by the alumni.
The president Ma Yujun introduced that this year's job fair presented three characteristics. First of all, the high specification was upgraded from the large-scale job fair last year into the Hunan provincial supply and demand orientation meeting for 2019 college graduates related to culture and entrepreneurial. Secondly, the jobs and the positions are trustworthy. The college Party Committee administration attached great importance to employment and entrepreneurship by establishing a recruitment network and an integrated information platform-- “mass media cloud employment”. The enterprises entered the platform should accept strict review and investigations on their third-party industry and business, tax affairs and social reputation by the third department so as to guarantee the graduates rights and interests. Thirdly, this year observed a grand occasion which attracted a large amount of companies, jobs, and students.
