From December 22nd to 23rd, the third round 2019 test for volunteers of Chinese language teachers (Hunan) of Hanban/Confucius Institute was held in HNMMC. 257 candidates from various universities in Hunan and Hubei provinces took the test. With active coordination and elaborate preparation, we completed the exam organization successfully, gaining the recognition and appreciation from Hanban/Confucius Institute, supervisors and candidates. The test for volunteers of Chinese language teachers is held by the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters to adapt to the current situation of booming Chinese language teaching in the world. It is one of the measures to provide Chinese teachers to the countries in need by taking advantage of the Chinese human resources from China as a mother-tongue country. It aims to actively promote Chinese, deepen mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world, and enhance the friendship and exchanges among the people all over the world by improving the Chinese teaching level in the world, and accelerating the spread of Chinese and Chinese culture abroad. As a base for international promotion of Chinese language and culture set by the headquarters of the Hanban/Confucius Institute in Hunan, our college proactively takes the historical responsibility of Chinese globalization. Since 2014, the college has successively undertaken the tests for volunteers of Chinese language teachers, and has sent many outstanding teachers to the United States, Thailand and other countries as volunteers, making positive contributions to the international promotion of Chinese Language and Culture.
