Opening Ceremony of the Alliance
On December 24th, the National Alliance of Media Vocational Education led by the college was formally established. More than 100 representatives from 29 media vocational colleges and representatives from the cultural media industry from 17 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions witnessed the foundation of the alliance. Leaders and guests present at the inaugural meeting included Ying Ruoping, deputy director of Hunan Provincial Department of Education, Liu Zhangyu, Party member and deputy director of Hunan Bureau of Radio and Television, Zhang Quanhui, deputy director of Hunan Radio and Television Station, Zhou Jiansong, chairman of the Vocational and Technical Education Branch of the China Higher Education Association, and Party secretary of Zhejiang Financial College, Hu Jun, General Manager of Hunan Performance Group, Xue Yudong, Party secretary of Hunan Economic Television Station, Liang Guosheng, Deputy Director of Education and Science Department of China Youth News, Liu Jie, Deputy Director of Vocational Education and Adult Education Department of Hunan Education Department, Wang Jiangqing, head of Vocational Education and Adult Education Institute of the Hunan Academy of Education and Science, director of the Vocational Education Institute, Li Xuexiang, deputy director of Shandong Education TV Station, Gan Dazhi, deputy director of Hunan Education TV Station, Liu Hui, deputy general manager of Mango Media Co., Ltd., Chen Lei, deputy general manager of Mango Fun, as well as Zhang Weimin, executive director and president of Canada Global Media Investment Group, and director of Canada International Television Station.
Speech by Ying Ruoping, Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education
The inaugural meeting was presided by Liu Guoqing, deputy secretary of the party committee of the college. On behalf of the college, Yuan Weikun, secretary of the party committee of the college, delivered a speech and expressed warm welcome to the leaders and guests present at the meeting. Xiong Yaolong, president of Jiangxi Media Vocational College, read the list of the alliance’s first chairman, vice chairman, executive director and secretary-general. Ying Ruoping, Liu Zhangyu, Zhang Quanhui, Yuan Weikun and other leaders unveiled nameplate of the alliance.
Speech by Liu Zhangyu, Party Member and Deputy Director of Hunan Bureau of Radio and Television
At the meeting, Ying Ruoping and Liu Zhangyu respectively delivered speeches and extended warm congratulations to the foundation of the alliance. In the speech, Ying Ruoping put forward four expectations for the alliance: first is to jointly publish the national media talent demand report; second is to jointly carry out the work of cultural media professional technical norms; third is to jointly develop a training program for talents in culture communication; fourth is to jointly organize cultural and media professional skills competitions. In Liu’s speech, he presented the outstanding achievements made by Hunan publishing and broadcasting and television industries to the guests, and expressed his gratitude to the media colleges for their commitment to the cultivation of media talents for many years.
After the meeting, the teachers and students of the college presented a performance, entitled "Building the Dreams Together".

In the afternoon, the National Media Vocational Education Summit Forum was held. Keynote speeches were delivered respectively by Zhou Jiansong, president of the Vocational and Technical Education Branch of the China Higher Education Association,and Party secretary of the Zhejiang Financial Vocational College, famous host of Hunan TV Station Li Bing, president of the School of Film and Television Art of our college, and winner of the gold award of "Golden Microphone" and "Fan Changjiang News Award", as well as Fan Boji, Hunan Provincial Government counselor, vice chairman and secretary-general of Hunan TV Artists Association, deputy director and secretary-general of Art Review Professional of China Television Artists Association, and winner of “the National Top 100 Excellent TV Artists”.
Welcoming Address by Yuan Weikun, Party Secretary of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College
At the preparatory meeting for the foundation of the alliance, Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College was elected as the chairman unit of the alliance, and Yuan Weikun as the first chairman. Shandong Media Vocational College, Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College and other 6 colleges were elected as vice chairman units. 8 colleges, including Hengdian College of Film and Television and Fujian Vocational College of Art, were elected as standing director units. He Zhanbing, the vice president of our college, was elected as secretary-general of the alliance.

The National Alliance of Media Vocational Education aims to deepen the implementation of the spirit of the National Education Conference, adhering to the theme of "cooperation, development, and win-win", and centering on the resource integration and optimization, and intensive sharing. It provides a communication platform for vocational colleges, media institutions, industry enterprises, and research institutes, by cultivating technical talents adapted to the development of modern media industry, and deepening the colleges’ cooperation and college-enterprise cooperation. The alliance attempts to further strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between colleges, colleges and industries, as well as enterprises and institutions, working together to create a new pattern of modern media vocational education development of "coordinated development, resource sharing, complementary advantages, and win-win cooperation" so as to promote the connotation development, characteristic development and innovation-driven development of the media vocational education. The alliance consists of ten industry-education integration and cooperation committees with the specialties of radio, film and television, animation game, publishing, media management, art design, film and television performance, media technology (including new media technology), news editing, broadcasting and hosting, and VR.
