HNMMC Held the 2018 International Students Completion Ceremony

In the afternoon of January 10th, HNMMC held the 2018 International Students Completion Ceremony and farewell party in the second semester. President Ma Yujun and vice president Xie Jingwei attended the ceremony. People present at the ceremony included the directors of the Party and Government Office, Propaganda Department, International Exchange Office, Student Affairs Office, Logistics Department, State-owned Assets Department, the School International Communication, and Physical Education Department, the teachers and counselor of the school, Chinese student representatives, and international students as well as their families from Germany, Madagascar, and Ukraine.

The completion ceremony kicked off in the performance of international students. German students Aaron, Jonas and Janosch delivered speeches in Chinese to describe the process of hard studying at school and their joy of harvesting. Madagascar student Tanteraka and German student Jahanna sang a song of "Grateful Heart" to express gratitude to the college and teachers. Madagascar student Ji Ling gave a wonderful performance of “where did the time go” with excellent Chinese pronunciation, bringing down the house. German students Viktoriia and Tanteraka recited the poem "Prelude to Water Melody· How long will the full moon appear". Teachers of the international students together with the Chinese student representatives sang the song of "Farewell", blessing international students have a promising future.

President Ma Yujun delivered a speech at the closing ceremony and issued graduation certificate to international students. Ma Yujun spoke highly of the international students' performances, and expressed his warm congratulations on their and sincere gratitude to the teachers and management workers who devoted themselves to cultivating international students. He hoped that international students would pay attention to the development of the college after completion, engaging themselves in the "Belt and Road" initiative construction. They were expected to make contributions to create a harmonious and shared life with mutual understanding, mutual trust and respect, and build a community of shared future for mankind.
